About Surat Hub
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Surat Global Shapers emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Established in 2014, we’re an organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support.
Global Shapers community is an initiative by World Economic Forum, founded in 2011, it's motive is to shape the future of the world we live in one community project at a time. Surat hub was started in the year 2014 and since then has worked on numerous community projects ranging from mental health to up-skill our youth. We've worked on projects around the taboos related to menstruation and also on giving better eye care to the needy. We are a group of enthusiastic youngsters, all between the age of 18-29 with a sole mission of improving the local state of living.
